Frameless or Semi-Frameless Glass Pool Fencing
When it comes to glass fencing Foothills DIY has a couple of options. Firstly, is frameless pool fencing that gives a luxurious and seamlessly clear view to your pool or outdoor area. Secondly, is the semi-frameless that gives you the added benefit of being the more child-friendly option.
Frameless glass pool fencing from us is of the highest quality. 12mm thick toughened safety glass panels to the AS/NZS 1288 are used. In addition, to this is the high grade 2205 stainless steel spigots in 3 different finishes. Polished mirror or satin brushed finish, and black coated. With, gate hardware to match. The best installation method is a core drilled hole in a concrete strip footing. Then using high strength construction grout to fix into position. Semi Frameless glass pool fencing uses the same 12mm toughened safety glass panels as mentioned in frameless. But, with a 50mm square aluminium powder coated glazing post. There are a few different styles of aluminium fencing products we supply.
Aluminium flat top tubular pool fencing. One of the most popular styles. Firstly, panels and gates are pre-fabricated using 38x25mm rails and 16mm round tubes. secondly, the standard pool fence panels come 2400mm and 3000mm wide. Thirdly, gate width of 975mm and all at a height of 1200mm. Powder coated in a range of standard colours. Above all, compliant to the Australian pool fencing standard.
Perforated pool fencing. New stylish look that gives you a wow factor to your pool or outdoor area. Panels are made from marine grade aluminium. Making them extremely durable and corrosion resistant. In short, benefits include excellent visibility and air flow, with the precision punching of 9mm diameter holes very close together. Furthermore, pool gates come pre-fabricated ready to install. The standard power coat colour is black but, now also comes in white. Most importantly, it is pool compliant and tested to Australian standards.
Aluminium slats. Available in a selection of powder coated and wood grain colours. Comes in 3 different widths, 38, 65 and 100mm. These are fixed into a concealed channel. In other words, screw are not seen. Channels can be mounted to existing pillars or to a post. To clarify, slats are mainly used for fence infills, screens and entry gates. On the other hand, these can be used as pool fencing. But, caution is advised that spacing between horizontal slats is smaller then 10mm.
